Educational, social & elderly measures: Latest information on the measures taken regarding the coronavirus outbreak

Closing educational and social institutions was the only responsible decision to take in order to slow down the coronavirus outbreak. Further to this measure, the 2nd district along with other districts in Buda has also decided to close all public playgrounds. However, the Buda hills still offer a safe alternative for family excursions, provided families avoid the use of public transport and keep a safe distance from each other.

We would like to emphasize again that everyone should avoid asking elderly friends or relatives to take care of their children. The following kindergartens offer day care services for children whose parents cannot stay at home with them:

Please contact the respective kindergartens if you need their services.

As of 18th of March the iMenza site has deleted all earlier meal orders. Those who would like to continue receiving meals for their children should place their orders again.

We are again asking all residents above the age of 65 to stay at home, and to contact the municipality staff via email ([email protected]) or telephone (+36/30 159-0148 or +36/30 159-0149) between 8 AM and 8 PM, if they do not have any friends or relatives they can rely on for help.
