Stricter health protection measures in the 2nd district

In order to protect residents and to reduce the risk of coronavirus infections, the 2nd district of Budapest has decided to broaden the scope of the current restrictions of movementand has introduced the following regulations until 12 midnight of 13th April.

Information about the partial curfew connected to COVID

As of Saturday, 28th of March the Hungarian Government has introduced a partial curfew in the whole country until the 11th of April. The partial curfew decree imposes restrictions on movement, that is, residents are not allowed to leave their homes without a good reason. In practice, this means the following:

Educational, social & elderly measures: Latest information on the measures taken regarding the coronavirus outbreak

Closing educational and social institutions was the only responsible decision to take in order to slow down the coronavirus outbreak. Further to this measure, the 2nd district along with other districts in Buda has also decided to close all public playgrounds. However, the Buda hills still offer a safe alternative for family excursions, provided families avoid the use of public transport and keep a safe distance from each other.
